POSITIONS AVAILABLE @ OIST
POST-DOC and RESEARCHER for OPEN BIOLOGY UNIT at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, Japan
Open Biology Unit (PI: Hiroaki Kitano) of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (President: Sydney Brenner) is now looking for candidates to fill its post-doctoral fellows and researchers to work on novel systems biology software platforms as well as large-scale interaction network development and analysis. The project aims at development of "open-flow" systems biology modeling platform based on established platforms such as CellDesigner (developed by SBI), SBML, SBGN, and Payao (developed jointly by OIST and SBI). In addition, the project aim to carry out a large-scale model integration of budding yeast as well as key networks of mammalian cells.
Successful candidate shall have:
For software-centered positions
The official language of OIST is English.
Interested candidate shall contact Hiroaki Kitano (kitano # sbi.jp). Hiroaki Kitano is also present at ICSB-2009 so that quick interview can be set.
